Start with the exact version

Write down the game edition, player name, rating, item type and Holographic status when comparing cards. Two listings with the same name need not describe the same item.

EA’s launch notes describe Item Scores as depending on OVR, rarity and Holographic status. The same scoring system is used in Gallery and Streamlined SBCs. A matching rating alone is therefore insufficient to establish an identical score.

Keep First Owner attached to an individual card

First Owner is a personal item property, not a market quote. Owning a card does not, by itself, confirm that property. Check the item’s details in the game instead of treating your whole collection as First Owner.

FCData’s published builder explanation uses a separate First Owner choice for each card; its suggested market lineups assume no First Owner cards. That distinction is useful when comparing a generic market suggestion with your own collection.

This guide does not assert a First Owner score multiplier. A complete calculation also needs verified item scores, eligibility and the set’s rules.

Three questions worth separating

Which version?
The identity of the item being discussed.
Owned now?
Whether it is currently in your club.
Recorded in Gallery?
Whether the game has recorded that item for your collection.

Keep an unknown answer as unknown. It is better to resolve one missing detail than to let a guessed answer change the whole route.
